About

My name is Nina Moon Ahn. I am a graduate student at California State University, Northridge studying for my masters degree in English literature. My interests include Asian American literature, African American literature, cultural studies, women writers, and gender studies.

This blog is dedicated to the discussion of J.M. Coetzee’s works as part of Dr. Ian Barnard‘s graduate seminar on the same subject. J.M. Coetzee won the Nobel Prize in 2003 and was the first author to win the Booker Prize twice. A native of South Africa, Coetzee is now an Australian citizen.

His fiction works include:
Dusklands
In the Heart of the Country
Waiting for the Barbarians
Life & Times of Michael K
Foe
Age of Iron
The Master of Petersburg
Lives of Animals
Disgrace
Elizabeth Costello
Slow Man
Diary of a Bad Year

The header art is by Sydney artist Adam Chang who won the Archibald 2011 People’s Choice award for his portrait of Coetzee.
